Resources for COVID 19

With everything we are walking through right now, I am certain that anxiety for many is at an all time high. This has been a hard spring for everyone and I know we are all hoping that it ends soon!  
 
I thought it might be helpful to provide a list of Assistance Programs some of which you may not be aware of including Harris County, Texas and Federal resource programs.  These may be resources you need right now or organizations that could use your support to help others.  
 
My prayer is that you and your family are all safe, healthy and remain so until we reach the other side of this pandemic!
The Military Heroes Fund emergency financial assistance program offers financial assistance for wounded, ill, and injured post 9-11 combat veterans who are experiencing an unexpected short term (1- 3 months) financial setback. 
 
The Texas State Agency resources site provides information for finding childcare for frontline workers, updates for COVID 19 testing, small business disaster assistance, unemployment benefits and numerous other programs within the state.
 
 Provides local contact information for assistance with food, paying bills and additional essentials needs. 
 
Cypress Assistance Ministries is a faith-based organization that serves individuals and families in financial crisis, those on the brink of homelessness, the elderly and the unemployed.
 
Cy-Fair Helping Hands is a non-profit organization founded to help the homeless of Cy-Fair by providing meals, school supplies and emergency shelter. 
 
Resources to help small businesses bridge the economic emergency by giving them the funds they need to keep their employees on their payroll and stay in business. 

 

Links to provide information on stimulus payment updates,  up to date information from the Center for Disease Control, support for cases of child abuse due to school closures, updates on travel restrictions and many other data sources.
